A word about blackboard concerts

  • This is a bluegrass festival so let’s keep your songs going in that direction. (Hint: you can bluegrass up almost any song with a banjo and a bluegrass band.)
  • Bluegrass bands are what we want to see in blackboard concerts, so as a general rule the number of songs you get to play is proportional to the number of people in the band. The MC will curate the list of performers, the order, and tell you how many songs you get. (Hint: if you are by yourself, you might not get on, so rope in a few bluegrass players – they’ll be only too glad to help.)
